RO Flocculants

Chemtex’s RO Flocculants (Anionic Polyelectrolyte) comprise a family of proprietary products, including anionic emulsions and dry poly acrylamides, which can be used wherever liquid/solids separation is needed in industrial ro applications. To meet the demands of various treatment applications, such as clarification and sludge dewatering, chemtex’s ro flocculants (anionic polyelectrolyte) are available.

Floculants from chemtex can increase pre-filtration efficiency and productivity in membrane systems for ro feed water.

  • Improve liquids/solids separation

  • Are compatible with all ro and thin-film composite membranes

  • Assure consistent sdi feed water specifications set by membrane manufacturers

  • Increase resistance to filter breakthrough compared to metal coagulants

  • Provide better color removal than organic polymers

  • Are effective over a broad ph range

  • Minimize flushing time and backwash waste

  • Reduce treatment costs

It is a highly effective quaternary polymer compound which is used for solid particles removal in textile, paper and dyeing industries and turbid liquid from other industries.

Equivalent or even better than maxfloc a 106, maxfloc a 107, maxfloc a 108, maxfloc a 115 and maxfloc 301 from thermax; permafloc pc 306, permafloc pc 306 t and permafloc pc 603 t from nalco; drewfloc range of products from chembond ashland; soilsep range of products from ge water etc.

RO Coagulants

Coming to fresh water and wastewater clarification, products that utilize a single type of coagulant chemistry typically do not provide exceptional results. Unlike single-component products, chemtex’s RO Coagulants (Cationic Polyelectrolyte) comprise a family of products that typically utilize two or more chemistries to specifically improve the clarification of fresh water and wastewater over a wide range of conditions.

Coagulants from chemtex can increase pre-filtration efficiency and productivity in membrane systems for ro feed water.

Equivalent or even better than maxfloc t, maxfloc 20, maxfloc 30, maxfloc 502, maxfloc 504, maxfloc 506, maxfloc 507, maxfloc c-11, maxfloc c-21, maxfloc c-22, maxfloc c-31 and maxfloc c-33 from thermax; permafloc pc 306, permafloc pc 306 t and permafloc pc 603 t from nalco; chargepac and amerfloc range of products from chembond ashland; soilsep range of products from ge water etc.

RO Antiscalant for High LSI & SDI

Chemtex’s ro antiscalants for high lsi & sdi are specific anti-scalants for reverse osmosis membrane feed water effective in controlling corrosion as well as deposition of inorganic scales. It helps in control of scales and corrosion and ideally suited for increasing membrane life and reduces unscheduled shutdowns for cleaning operations. Equivalent or even better than maxtreat 9001, maxtreat 9004, maxtreat 9005, maxtreat 9007, maxtreat 9008 and maxtreat 9511 from thermax; indion 8110, indion 8111 and indion 8114 from ion exchange; permatreat pc 191, permatreat pc 191t and permatreat pc 1020 from nalco; drewsperse range of products from chembond ashland; hypersperse range of products from ge water etc.

Liquid Chlorine of RO Grade

For shock chlorination of RO water systems, a liquid chlorine of RO grade is used. For larger systems, chemtex’s liquid chlorine of RO grade is more practical because of lower rates. The alkalinity of it also causes the precipitation of minerals such as calcium carbonate, so that the shock chlorination is often accompanied by a clogging effect. The precipitate also preserves bacteria, making this practice somewhat less effective.

It is used to sanitize or disinfect ro feed water & ro membranes.

Hypochlorite of RO Grade

For shock chlorination of ro water systems, a hypochlorite of ro grade is used. For larger systems, chemtex’s sodium hypochlorite of ro grade is more practical because of lower rates. It is also known as hypochlorite solution sodium salt, chlorine bleach, soda bleach, chlorox, sodium hypochlorite solution 12% etc.

RO DE-Chlorination Chemical

Chemtex’s RO de-chlorination chemicals are excellent RO feed water de-chlorinators. It is a used for elimination of residual chlorine prior to the ro membrane system. This is necessary because some membrane materials such as tfc membranes can be irreversibly damaged by the presence of strong oxidizing agents such as chlorine. Equivalent or even better than. Dechlor dcl 30, dechlor dcl 33 and dechlor dcl 95 from ge water etc.
